Call to Book an Assessment
The quickest way to reach us is by phone. Call (343) 459 3999 to describe what is happening in your basement and arrange a visit. If you reach voicemail, leave your name, number and the community you are in, and we will call you back.
What to Expect at a Basement Assessment
An assessment is a visit to understand what is happening in your basement and why. We look at the foundation walls and floor, any cracks, the sump pit and pump, and signs of past water. Outside, we check grading, downspouts and window wells. Then we explain what we found and the work we recommend, and answer your questions.
Information to Have Ready When You Call
- When the water, dampness or smell first appeared, and whether it follows rain, snow melt or humid weather.
- Where it shows up, such as a particular crack, wall, corner or the floor joint.
- Photos taken during or soon after a wet event.
- Any past repairs, waterproofing work or pump replacements you know about.
- Whether the basement is finished, and any plans to finish it.
- Access details for the basement, sump pit and the outside of the foundation.
Areas We Serve
We work in Brockville, Prescott, Gananoque, Athens, Lyn, Mallorytown, Maitland and the 1000 Islands area, Ontario. See the service areas page for a map.
Before the Visit
Move stored items a short distance away from the walls where water appears, if you can do so safely. If water is actively coming in, keep electrical cords and appliances away from it, and start drying wet materials to limit mould. Browse the services and FAQ pages to get familiar with the options.
